C++ Lead

Essential Criteria

Strong academic record including BSc Degree (at least 2.1) or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
Formal training or experience of computer programming/ scripting including:
Object-oriented programming C++
Familiar with Solaris and/or Linux operating environments
Knowledge of the Software Lifecycle
Effective communication – both written and verbal

Good problem solving skills
Strong team working skills
Desire to learn and improve skills
Must be willing to travel
Good understanding of IP, TCP and UDP

Minimum of 6 (lead) and 3(snr) years experience of:
C++ programming in Unix, especially Unix system and network programming,Multi-threaded programming

Desirable Criteria
o Knowledge of:
– Java
– xml
– Test Tools / Automation, tracking systems & test methodologies
– Knowledge of mobile technologies, including Mobile-Infrasturcture products.
Able to accept feedback and act on it
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage time and prioritise
Ability to follow process and maintain accurate records.
