General Ledger Lead Adobe - New Delhi


Job Description

Position Summary
The person would be responsible for all general ledger (GL) activities by applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Responsibilities
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close with global standards
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Fixed assets management including record maintenance etc.
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
Prepare financial management reports
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Develop and maintain financial data bases
Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of expenses
Analyze and advice on business operations including expenditure trends, financial commitments etc.
Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
Detailed knowledge on Indian GAAP and US GAAP
GL reconciliation

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements
Accounting degree or equivalent preferably CA , CWA & CPA Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience in the management of financial systems, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and providing financial advice
Knowledge of accepted accounting practices, auditing practices and principles
Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
Attention to detail, accuracy, planning and organizing
Solid functional knowledge & Strong proactive communication skills
Experience in managing small team & Worked previously in ERP environment
Problem analysis, judgment and problem-solving skills
Strong integrity led value system, team player and ability to impact changes
Out of the box thinking
