Job Description

Title: Deal Analyst
Location: Gurgaon
Must have excellentcommunication and presentation skills as well as financial depth combined withtechnical and business acumen to advance opportunities through the use ofeffective consultative selling techniques; Builds customer loyalty throughbeing a trusted advisor, especially to the client’s CFO team or project financeteam
Works closely withGSS Deal Analysts in APJ as well as Globally. Liaise with GSS Deal PricingCentre team as needed.
Develops Price-to-Winfor pursuit team, and increases awareness amongst all Sales and Account teamsfor the pursuit. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the developmentof overall commercial strategy for pursuits.
Applies expertsubject matter knowledge in solving most complex pricing issues in line withbusiness/technical requirements and within established policies.
Coaches pursuit teamas needed on Price-to-Win and Cost-to-Win
Resolves differentcustomer problems and participates in important c commercial negotiations withkey customers.
Gathers and assessescustomer needs, financial and business; Identifies likely problem areas that require attention
Architects anappropriate "business" solution that meets the customer'srequirements; investigates and optimizesa commercial solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity
Dealing withAmbiguity: Can effectively cope withchange; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortablyhandle risk and uncertainty; assesses complexproblems quickly, generates a variety of alternative courses of action andselects the most appropriate.

Desired Skills & Experience

Education & Experience Required:

At least 5-7yrs experience in leading and designing pricing solutions for complex pursuits across Applications, Infrastructure and Business Process portfolios
Excellent coach, mentor and motivator.
Strong economic and numerical capabilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to build strong rapport and credibility both internally and externally.
Typically 10-12+ years experience in sales
Directly related management experience and work results including success in managing the achievement
University or Bachelor's degree; advanced or Master's degree preferred
