Core Java Developers - L&T Infotech - Bangalore


Job Description

Skills:

Must be comfortable with OOAD & basics of Design Patterns and usage of UML tools. Should understand concepts of Web Applications & have relevant hands-on experience using technologies mentioned within in Core Java.

Should understand concepts of
Strong development experience in Core Java (at least JAVA 5)
OO fundamentals (Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism) and various relationships between classes
Should have worked in Sybase (Good to have)
Strong DB skills
Object Relational Mapping & how it is realized using JPA frameworks (preferably Hibernate)
Batch & Online processing (& how to select among them) and where to use & not use Java
Understanding of how to use JMS for asynchronous integration between modules
UNIX operations and scripting techniques are a plus
Background in Finance, Risk Management and/or Financial Instruments a plus.
Selfmotivated individual who can take full responsibility for a subcomponent within the team. Should be ready to participate in a team development and support of various components of large-scale applications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
Good verbal and written communication skills
