Pegasystems Framework development team builds Industry and Solution specific application templates that accelerate time to market for our customers and fuel Pegasystems fast growth. This fast paced, dynamic environment leverages the Agile/Scrum methodology to quickly build libraries of application Frameworks the we license to the world’s largest and most sophisticated companies.
 
Job Purpose:
The Director - Solution Frameworks will manage a team of highly skilled staff to design new product features for vertical frameworks.  . The successful candidate will have excellent management and leadership capabilities combined with  project management skills.  This role is expected to develop a strong team to support the rapid growth requirements of the frameworks function Candidate will provide leadership and vision for the team in terms of vertical solutions in the area of Banking, Insurance, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Telecommunication etc.Individual will participate in all operational aspects which includes staff recruiting, enablement, retention etc The role is expected to collaborate with various groups in the organization to align the Solution Frameworks India strategy.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
ü  Provide leadership and  technology vision.
ü  Coach and mentor employees to faster enablement
ü  Understand how to measure and constantly improve productivity and quality
ü  Operat as the leader for the Solution frameworks team for the India operation, which would include reporting progress and coordination with senior management in the US, and meetings with senior personnel at our vendors, customers, partners.
ü  Managing the operating budget and resource allocation for Pega India
ü  Drive project delivery including project progress tracking, change control, and the overall governance process.
ü  Access, secure and leverage appropriate resources to ensure successful results.
ü  Maintain a good working rapport with Pega corporate management, vendors, , strategic partners, and customers in the region.
ü  Demonstrate a strong overall executive presence and the capacity to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels within the organization (internally and externally)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
 
ü  A results/delivery-oriented professional who effectively assesses product development trade-offs, finds creative solutions to problems, and sets and meets delivery schedules.
ü  A strong leader able to recruit, motivate, retain, and effectively manage talented enterprise.
ü  In-depth experience and expertise in enterprise software architectures and related standards and technologies 
ü  Demonstrated teamwork with peers and collaboration with all members of the management team is required 
ü  Strong leadership and management skills needed.
ü  Capable of working in distributed and virtual teams across geographies
ü  Understanding of Solution Design and development (in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Telecom Verticals)
ü  Experience in architecting solutions .
ü  Familiarity with J2EE, Relational Database and application development technologies
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
ü  Technical Degree.
ü  Minimum 14 years experience in IT industry
ü  PRPC Certification (within 3 months of joining Pega).
