MANAGER - SOFTWARE TESTING (System Testing & Protocol Testing) for UMTS/LTE/GPRS/3G/4G Telecom Netwok/Wireless Software) 
MITG - PUNE

This is an excellent opportunity to join Cisco’s latest acquisition, Starent Networks. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced start up like environment. You will be part of an experienced team working on next generation Mobility products.

The successful candidate will work in a very sophisticated development environment and requires technical expertise in a number of areas.

Must have 10+ years of total experience, with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in QA/Test project management. 
• Good understanding of 3GPP / 3GPP2 standards, Experience in CDMA / UMTS/ LTE domain will be an added advantage 
• Should have prior experience in datacom or telecom companies, preferably product companies. 
• Should have experience of managing multi-site projects. 
• Excellent technical, problem solving, research and analysis, team building, and leadership skills. 
• Excellent communication skills, passion for project management and people orientation.
• A high level of accountability and quality orientation

Desired Skills & Experience

Primary skills:
• 10+ years experience in Testing of Wireless Network/Telecom products (UMTS/LTE/GPRS/CDMA/3G/4G Telecom Wireless Network products)
• Understanding of 3GPP/3GPP2, LTE Wireless Packet Core, Protocol level understanding of GTP, DIAMETER, RADIUS etc. Hands-on experiance of Software Testing
• Secondary skills: L2/L3 Protocols, L2TP,MIP BGP, MPLS, TCL/TK, Shell Scripting, Expect
• In-Depth Technical knowledge of wireless technologies (GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/LTE) and Sound Technical knowledge about IP Networking/routing Technologies,
• Experience with test equipments & Tools: Traffic Generators (Spirent/IXIA), Wireshark, Nethawk, ethereal etc.
• Ability to understand and evaluate technology standards/internal/external specifications
• Experience with test analysis, test planning and test case design
