Job Description
Cisco is seeking an experienced Senior Software professional - Lead Role for the External Apps Team in Pune.
 
General requirements
- Participate (in a senior lead role) on a project team of engineers involved in development of software for Cisco products
- Work closely with other SW and HW Engineers to develop and support high data volume, real time analysis product.
- Architect, design, and determine product direction.
- Represent product engineering group at internal as well as external customers. 
- Impact the company through influence and contribution in cross-functional areas
- Author product and project specifications.
- Partner with Management Team in defining and planning projects.

Desired Skills & Experience
Technical Requirements
- 10+ years of experience required
- Experience in working with storage, persistence of large amount of data.
- Data analysis over large amount of data.
- Hands on development experience in design, development of enterprise web application for data analysis.
- Hands on experience in building products with reliability, availability and serviceability goals.

Domain:
- Telecom Domain will be a huge advantage 
Languages / Technologies
- C++, python, java/j2ee(optional), UI frameworks such as (ext-js, dojo).
- Linux 
- RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Experience with NoSQL databases or equivalent database technologies will be an advantage.
