Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Capable to perform and supervise conceptual and FEED engineering of fixed offshore platforms including well, process and LQ.
Capable to perform and supervise Jacket in-place, spectral fatigue, Seismic and pre-service analysis.
Capable to check the deliverables (documents and drawings) and ensure its quality and adherence to  Specifications and fabrication standards.
Proficiency with Major offshore structural codes and standards like API, NORSOK and AISC
Knowledge in various fabrication standards.
Plan project structural execution including scope, deliverables, schedule and all manpower resources
Lead the assigned engineers and drafting personnel to complete the scope as per planned schedule, within budget, in accordance with fabrication standards, to a high professional standard
Ensure interfaces and deliverables are clearly identified.
Co-ordinate material control requirements and maintains agreed material order release dates, ensures standards are followed.
Monitor scope change. Raises change orders to the project.
Interface with Client and other agencies on their review and approval.
Prepare estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements and man hour estimates.
Identifies and provides training to staff in specific techniques and proprietary software.

Desired Skills & Experience
Offshore Structural Engineer - min 8 to 20 years of experience
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech.  Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Preferred M.E./M.Tech./ MS in structural/Ocean engineering/Offshore Structures
Industrial Experience: Relevant experience after B. Tech (more than 75% in offshore structure)
Proficiency in SACS/MicroSAS/SEASAM
