Job description
1. Handle a team of Buyers – 300+ Buyers
2. Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
3. Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports / dashboards.
4. Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions
5. Handle escalations if any, and escalate matters requiring the senior management’s attention on a timely basis.
6. Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics.
7. Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
8. Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes
9. Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.
10. Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.
11. Give presentations to the Top Management with respect to the business.
1. Experience in the following domains preferred: Order processing and management, planning, warehouse and logistics management
Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)
2. Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook
3. Some exposure to voice process will be highly preferred
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
5. Good analytical skills.

7. Conflict resolution.
8. Reporting & Decision making skills.
9. 20 plus years of experience. At least 10 of these years in a Manufacturing set up (preferably EMS) desired & at least 10 years in a People Management role handling a team size of min 30-100 members.
