WhatsApp is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial individual to lead the consumer acquisition and growth our Payments business in India. This role will report into the Director of WhatsApp Pay India. With 400M+ active users in India, this is a unique opportunity to build a globally significant and socially important payments business and brand. You would be responsible for the growth and adoption of WhatsApp's Payment service with consumers in India. This would include defining and executing customer acquisition strategies, managing strategic partner programs and identifying new opportunities or important market requirements that can be added to product roadmap. This position requires payments and consumer marketing experience as well as a track record of successfully growing consumer-focused products or services in India. This leader will also need to work in close partnership with product and marketing teams. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai or Bangalore.

Responsibilities Develop and execute strategy, business plan, and marketing / partnership programs to drive adoption and engagement of WhatsApp Pay with consumers Build and lead the WhatsApp Pay consumer acquisition team. This leader will need to drive rapid and sustainable growth by winning market share in consumer segments already using payments while also expanding into segments that are new to digital payments Define, test, and scale innovative product / services & engagement programs to win and retain users Build and effectively manage networks across cross-functional teams including marketing, partnerships, and product to drive alignment and execution Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of work experience in Consumer Marketing & Acquisition in either eCommerce or Banking / Digital Payments. Experience in both is preferred Managed P&L and scaled consumer growth an organization with >$1B in GMV and >20M active users Experience working with remote software & product teams Entrepreneurial mindset and experience running a profitable &/or sustainable consumer acquisition strategy and team Preferred Qualifications Masters or MBA Led cross-functional teams and managed businesses in multiple geographies Software & Start-up experience
